Device principle
Methanol passes through the catalyst bed under certain temperature and pressure conditions, and under the action of the catalyst, a methanol cracking reaction occurs to generate hydrogen and carbon monoxide.
The reaction is: the methanol cracking reaction is an endothermic reaction—a reaction endothermic reaction process.
The reaction equation is as follows:
CH3OH→CO+2H2 -90.7KJ/mol
The H2 and CO generated by the cracking reaction are separated from the H2 and CO through the subsequent process and pressure swing adsorption separation to obtain 99.99% pure hydrogen and 99.99% carbon monoxide.
